Worst horse - tough one for most amateurs to answer but on the list for me would be:

Kilamanjaro - Horse was crazy as a sack of spiders and went out looking like he'd run through the tack room. Was of and would tak fright at: water, birds, tractors, the mobile. Had a unique habit of doing a 180 degree turn upon entering the track. To his credit though, once in a race, could close like freight train.

Best horse
For me it has to be Dark Shadow. Not a dominant performer, bt how many amateur horses go on to win 11?

I should through in Stuart Brown as well. I remember when he was entered in for an amateur race a few seasons ago only to be scratched morning of the race. A near thing and with Canterbury's most dashing driver in the bike too...

Toughest horse to drive and also a good one to learn to drive on as well.

Bourbon Rose:  She was a knee knocker who had brilliant gate speed off the mobile ....the only problem was she wanted to keep up the breakneck speed for the entire trip and would pull your arms off and wouldnt usually let anything get past her.  I think Richard S drove her in a Novy race and they went 3.19, as a result she was banned from novice races!
She also had this annoying habit of standing still in the scoreup if you stopped keeping her moving. (hence she was stood down from standing starts)

sounds like an armchair drive, what are you complaining about?
